TELL ME WHY, JUST WHY, I LOVE YOU

Hosea 11:3-4 ESV‬
Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk; I took them up by their arms, but they did not know that I healed them.  I led them with cords of kindness, with the bands of love, and I became to them as one who eases the yoke on their jaws, and I bent down to them and fed them.

¶The Old Testament is littered with the affirmations of God's commitment to keeping His covenant promises. Reading the OT, the bands of His love that bind me to Him just get stronger and stronger. Why? He loved us just because He loved us (Deut 7:7-8). He loves to walk with His beloved in the garden. He loves the Son in whom He is well pleased. He loves the Bride being made ready for the marriage of the Lamb.
