BUILD YOUR PRAISE VOCABULARY WITH SOME EXTOLLING

But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.  Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, EXTOL him who rides on the clouds ; rejoice before him—his name is the Lord .
Psalms 68:3‭-‬4 NIV

¶"Extol' Him (salal): lift Him up, build praise upon praise to Him. Used of stones gathered and heaped up in the construction of a building, or a highway. Used by extension of individuals gathered together for a common purpose, like we who, imagining ourselves going through life alone and lonely, find ourselves among a  gathering throng rejoicing on the way toward His throne. We can be happy and glad, not in our own approval, but when He is EXTOLLED.
