WHERE GLORY DWELLETH

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
James 1:23‭-‬25 ESV

¶In 2 Cor 3 Paul talks about minds that are hardened. Without Christ, the veil over the law remains unlifted, so that the law of Moses is unable to accomplish its intended purpose, which is to reveal God's glory. But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.
"Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, and we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another."
