WHAT JUST HAPPENED?

 Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called the Passover. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to put him to death, for they feared the people.
Luke 22:1‭-‬2 ESV

¶What happened in the upper room that day before Passover, when bread and wine were substituted for body and blood of the sacrifice, was not the actual paschal event of our Savior's sacrifice. That would follow in the three days of His Passion. It was a prequel. Every subsequent Lord's Supper would be the sequel.
