HE GETS ME

And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “So, you men could not keep watch with Me for one hour? Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Matthew 26:40‭-‬41 LSB

¶Jesus's desire is that His disciples be equipped for Kingdom work, starting with prayer. As fully man, He shares the struggles we experience in our spirit versus our flesh, so His acknowledges our weakness, yet He calls us to walk closer with Him in truer likeness to Him.
