FEELING OUT OF PLACE?

But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when your host comes he may say to you, 'Friend, move up higher.' Then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at table with you. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
Luke 14:10‭-‬11 ESV

¶Who is the best example of this but Jesus Himself, who humbled Himself, born in the likeness of men, who was obedient to the point of death, and whom "God highly exalted, and bestowed on him the name that is above every name" (Philippians 2:9)? Of course, this way passes through a narrow door, and few it is that will pass through it, but Jesus holds it open, and bids us follow Him through.

BREAD UNSPOILED
