THE HORN OF THE LORD
There I will make a horn to sprout for David; I have prepared a lamp for my anointed. Psalm 132:17 ESV
¶By the time of his day, Daniel had seen other horns that would raise themselves up against the Lord. Instead of a beacon of peace to the nations, Jerusalem became a cauldron of conflict. Nations came to the Beautiful Land to wage their wars of conquest. Yet the promise still stands, awaiting the One coming upon a white horse, with the sword of the word of God proceeding from His mouth, carrying upon His thigh the name He inherited from His father David: King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
