NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT

He has inscribed a circle on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.
Job 26:10 ESV

¶The twilight hour passing over the surface of the waters of the earth represents the boundary between the past we cannot change, and the future we cannot know. The place where we exist, the present, is but a point. It has no dimensionality. There's no place to go, no time, no room to maneuver. The future approaches us, slips through our lives, and recedes into the past. What we call the present, and all the actions we bring to bear upon the present moment, are but the sum of all the influences the past brings to bear upon the future as it hurtles toward us. This is the extent of the wisdom offered by Job.
