BUSTED!

 After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent of witness in heaven was opened, and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests. And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.

¶It turns out that the original tent of witness where God met with with His people is a replica of this ultimate heavenly dwelling-place of God. All the fearsome, cleansing, qualities of that holy place are present here, figuratively seven-fold in scope and intensity. No imperfect thing stands before Him there. The modern world is at ease with the concept of "the circle of life", that natural selection determines whether a species will live and die according to its survival potential. By affirming that this is right and true, we affirm the value of moral distinctions. We are then obligated to search out and submit ourselves to this judge of all things. It is our perennial failure to seek Him that puts us in opposition to Him, and at war with each other. It is our primary obligation. Like the Israelite with a defective offering, we avoid His holy presence. But the good news of the Gospel is that He is seeking us. He has demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were still opposed to Him, Christ died for us. For all who will receive Him, He gives us His Holy Spirit, the spirit of holiness. In this He is worthy not only of our obedience, but of our praise and worship.
