WHERE REPENTANCE STARTS

Ephraim's glory shall fly away like a bird— no birth, no pregnancy, no conception! Give them, O Lord — what will you give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
Hosea 9:11‭, ‬14 ESV

¶Hosea, prophet of the northern kingdom of Israel (Ephraim) can only agree with God about his people's sinfulness, and the curses that justly fall upon them. This is where true repentance starts. Thank God for the righteous judgements of which the prophets speak, that open the way for peace with God.
