IS THE BIBLE ON THE SIDE OF THE PATRIARCHY?

I will not punish your daughters when they play the whore, nor your brides when they commit adultery; for the men themselves go aside with prostitutes and sacrifice with cult prostitutes, and a people without understanding shall come to ruin.
Hosea 4:14 ESV

¶Of course prostitution was not a manifestation of an entrepreneurial independent feminist spirit. It was a strategy used by men to gain advantage/profit/power over the women they could control, substituting that for love. Do not let anyone tell you that the Bible is on the side of the patriarchy.
