HE'S COMING

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
James 5:7‭-‬8 ESV

¶Our son Brian left his 1.5 year old daughter Nora with us for a while yesterday. She cried for her daddy almost the entire time. All she wanted to do was wander around the neighborhood looking for him. Nothing would distract her. Finally all I could say was "He's coming back. We have to wait." And she would just repeat "wait", and "coming". That was her only comfort. But...how much greater was her relief when he returned! And how pleased her father was to see her joy when he arrived! Promise fulfilled! Joy returned! All amplified through the waiting.

He asks their opinion. He asks them to inquire of the Lord for themselves, and decide. They have the opportunity to bring the ark of God close to them in their midst.
