GOD'S ULTIMATE PLAN

"Therefore wait for me," declares the Lord , "for the day when I rise up to seize the prey. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed.
Zephaniah 3:8 ESV

¶God's ultimate plan did not end with the scattering of the nations. Babel was to separate them, that they might fully manifest their idolatry and ungodliness, to winnow them, as the wheat is separated from the chaff, so that a people would remain who were devoted to Him, that He might reign over all in peace.
