THERE'S A PLACE IN THE SON WHERE THERE'S HOPE FOR EVERYONE

This is the land that you shall allot as an inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, declares the Lord God. The circumference of the city shall be 18,000 cubits. And the name of the city from that time on shall be, The Lord Is There."
Ezekiel 48:29‭, ‬35 ESV

¶Under God's new heaven and new earth, the people of God, here represented by the twelve tribes of Israel, will find themselves surrounding the very center of the place called "The Lord is There". And not only there, but from there will flow a refreshing river watering along its banks trees bearing fruit in every season, and leaves for the healing of the nations (Revelation 22:2). My prayer, my only hope, is to be grafted into the root stock of the same olive tree as they. The mystery, the great surprise, is that, for Israel as well, their only hope is to be grafted back into their own olive tree (Romans 11:19, 24). This is only accomplished when they, by the grace of God made clear to them, by the manifestations given to them of Jesus, by the example of their father Abraham who by faith alone God counted as righteous, and by the promised gift of the Holy Spirit, place all their hope in the redeeming work accomplished by Christ alone, and find their place in the Son.
