LIFE IN THE PRESSURE COOKER

If I say, "I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name," there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot.
Jeremiah 20:9 ESV

¶Jeremiah's fear of speaking out is matched only by the aching in his heart should he remain silent. This man is on the same pathway as the Holy Anointed One of Israel who is to come, yet he seems unaware of the cloud of glory that surrounds him in his struggle. God is still making incursions into the fallen world. Is there comfort in our struggles as we live out the obedience required of us?
