FAITH'S FIRST FRUIT

And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

Perfectly in line with this, James 1:18 exhorts us to show forth our faith by our works, "that we might be a kind of first-fruits of all creation".
