10,000 WAYS TO BLESS THE LORD: A START

I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praises to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed. And my tongue will talk of your righteous help all the day long, for they have been put to shame and disappointed who sought to do me hurt.
Psalm 71:22‭-‬24 ESV

Lets begin an inventory of all the ways we have to praise Him. We have instruments, and music to create on them. We have our lips, and language to tell of Him. We have our tongue, to influence the world as powerfully as the rudder that steers the ship. We have bricks, and stone, to build outposts of new creation beauty. We have clothing, and finery that ennobles our feeble frames even to the resembling of the immortals. We have plants, to remind us of Eden's garden. We have animals, which remind us of the Creator in our creaturely kinship. What else would you add to the list? If this is so, let our lives, in the praising...

 ...be consecrated, Lord, to thee.
Take my moments and my days;
let them flow in endless praise,

at the impulse of thy love.

He asks their opinion. He asks them to inquire of the Lord for themselves, and decide. They have the opportunity to bring the ark of God close to them in their midst.
